- Co-founder of Chapter Three, a Drupal professional services company in San Francisco.
- Co-founder of Mission Bicycle Company, purveyor of beautiful custom city bicycles.
- Co-founder of Pantheon, an early stage Drupal platform-as-a-service startup.
In the past:
- Co-founder of CivicSpace, the worlds first Drupal company. We built a distribution of Drupal for the Non-Profit sector that was used by thousands of organizations and spawned the Drupal services industry.
- Started Deanspace, the worlds first high-profile use of Drupal. I dropped out of the University of Illinois Computer Science Department to move to Vermont and work for the Howard Dean's presidential campaign. We built a Drupal based grassroots organizing platform that was used by the campaign's state level organizations and grassroots groups.
